Overview
Johnson Fabrication was founded by Chadwick Johnson in 2003. We have a full CNC shop with machines and computer software to design and build custom entrance gates, private driveway gates, signs, and panels to meet anyone’s needs.
The business started out in metal art which we still do but is now concentrated on building gates and panels. All you need to do is contact us with some basic measurements and some ideas of what you are wanting your product to look like. We also welcome all computer formats as well as pictures that we can use to mimic and create ideas from.
Attached on this page are some gates we’ve built in the past to show the patterns our customers have brought to us to build from. We use all new steel and quality hinges.
Chad can help make recommendations on the sizing of your panels and what is the easiest way to install them. He has been in metal fabrication for 16 years and is well-versed on structural limits and how to make large panel gates support themselves.
The Product
All of our products are made from new steel and are built by hand one at a time. We are proud to be promoting American Made products and source all of our materials in the USA.
We build gates from such genres as: Wildlife, Ornamental, Geometric Shapes, as well as traditional. There is no design that we can’t do.

Chad will look over the job, call and go over some ideas and make sure everyone is on the same page.
Pricing will be given.
A 50% deposit is required after the final design has been approved before we can get to work.

Pricing
Most of the gates on this homepage range from $1,800 to $3,500 for the complete gate and range from roughly 14-18ft to give you an example. CNC gates vary quite a bit in their detailing and machining time but we pride our company on great products at a fair price.

About Us
Chad was born and raised in the small town of Ennis, TX where he runs two fabrication businesses. Both businesses stemmed from things that he loved to build as far back as grade school.
One side of his shop Chad runs his primary business www.johnsonsmokers.com where he builds and sells custom BBQ cookers and concession trailers which are sold all over the world. His design ideas and engineering have made his BBQ smoker company one of the top 5 in the United States and is referred to in articles from cooking magazines throughout the country.
On the other side of the shop Chad constantly is taking custom fabrication orders from customers that simply know his company will put out quality work. Over the years of selling BBQ smokers Chad found himself constantly building gates, panels, and other various metal art for customers that came by the BBQ smoker shop looking for cooking equipment. Word gets around with good customer service and good quality.
Finally, Chad decided to branch out and start www.customentrancegates.com and reach out to customers the same way the smoker business does. In a nutshell, the gate and panel business found us so to speak!
